It seems like Britney Spears is having one of those good days to even out the last couple of years. Celebrating her 27th birthday, Britney has many more plans for herself and her career that don’t involve loony shenanigans or meltdowns as she tells all proudly on the “Good Morning America” show on the center stage underneath a circus tent.
Spears performed new songs under the Big Apple Circus tent in Manhattan for ABC breakfast show “Good Morning America” and announced plans for a 26-city North American tour, starting in New Orleans on March 3, and two concerts in London in June.
“Old Britney I think is back,” said Jamal Alexander, 24, from Brooklyn, who couldn’t get inside the circus tent and stood outside to hear Spears perform. “This seems more real, more put together. She has the right people behind her now.”
Well Britney Spears definitely received her second shot. It’s sometimes scary how forgiving the media can be…but then again, it is probably because regardless whether she ends up taking the fork to crazyville or hot singer/dancer, we’re all still going to be very much entertained.
